Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Physics to students up to A Level, using a bespoke curriculum and sector-leading teaching practices.
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that foster curiosity and a deep understanding of scientific concepts.
- Support students in achieving their academic goals, with a focus on preparing them for university and future careers in STEM.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Science department to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
- Provide individualized support to students, ensuring they are well-prepared for higher education and beyond.

- Participate in departmental meetings and planning sessions to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
- Stay up to date with developments in Physics education and incorporate new ideas into lesson planning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Physics up to A Level.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and engage students.
- Commitment to fostering a love of science and encouraging high achievement in students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take on additional responsibilities as required.
Preferred
- Experience with the Edexcel IGCSE and A Level specifications.
- Familiarity with the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) and independent research.
- Experience in a school with a strong Science department and a focus on STEM.
- Previous involvement in careers guidance or university preparation for students.
