The Opportunity:

A Physics Teacher is needed to inspire and educate students across Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A Level. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' academic and personal growth within a dynamic and values-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Physics across Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A Level with a focus on student achievement and engagement.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that align with the National Curriculum for England and the school’s ecological vision.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with the Science department to develop innovative and interdisciplinary teaching approaches.
  • Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential through differentiated instruction and personalized learning.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of experiential and outdoor learning opportunities.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Physics education and integrate new teaching strategies and technologies.
  • Contribute to the school’s mission by promoting sustainability and environmental awareness in the curriculum.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Native-level English language skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a related field, with a PGCE in Education and QTS or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching Science in the UK or a reputable British school overseas
  • Proven track record of achieving outstanding GCSE results
  • Demonstrated ability to create a caring and nurturing classroom environment

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching Physics at A Level
  • Experience in project-based and experiential learning
  • Strong understanding of ecological and sustainability issues
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the school’s vision
