The Opportunity:
A Physics Teacher is needed to join a growing science department and contribute to the delivery of a dynamic and internationally recognized curriculum. This role offers the chance to shape the educational experiences of students across multiple age groups and to engage in a wide range of innovative and impactful teaching initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach physics across all age groups using the Rosenberg International Curriculum®.
- Implement and develop the International Rosenberg Curriculum® with a focus on academic excellence and student engagement.
- Utilize modern teaching techniques and differentiate effectively in the classroom to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Manage and lead science laboratory sessions to enhance practical learning experiences.
- Participate actively in the school’s Talent & Enrichment programme, contributing to a wide range of co-curricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and projects.
- Support students in preparing for International GCSEs, A-Levels, IB Diploma, and Advanced Placement examinations.
- Work independently and lead on projects that align with the school’s mission and values.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Appropriate degree with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years' teaching experience.
- Proven ability to teach the Rosenberg International Curriculum® and prepare students for International GCSEs, A-Levels, IB Diploma, and Advanced Placement examinations.
- Demonstrated track record of guiding students to achieve excellent academic results.
- Strong commitment to the school’s values and ethos.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching an additional science subject.
- Experience with modern teaching techniques and classroom differentiation.
- Familiarity with the use of science laboratory resources.
- Interest in and experience with the school’s Talent & Enrichment programme.
- Ability to lead and manage educational projects independently.
