The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Physics Teacher to join a dynamic science department. This role offers the chance to shape young minds, lead curriculum development, and contribute to a forward-thinking educational environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality physics instruction across multiple curricula.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach physics across all age groups using the Rosenberg International Curriculum® and other internationally recognized programs.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching techniques that enhance student engagement and academic achievement.
  • Manage and lead laboratory-based lessons, promoting hands-on learning and scientific inquiry.
  • Contribute to the school’s Talent & Enrichment programme by designing and delivering co-curricular science activities.
  • Support students in preparing for International GCSEs, A-Levels, IB Diplomas, and Advanced Placement exams.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the school’s educational philosophy and curriculum.
  • Provide individualized support to students through the Individual Development Programme® (IDP).
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and projects, demonstrating leadership and initiative.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant degree with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience, preferably in an international setting.
  • Proven ability to teach physics across multiple curricula, including US, UK, and IB.
  • Strong classroom management and differentiation skills.
  • Experience in guiding students to academic success in high-stakes examinations.
  • Commitment to the school’s educational values and ethos.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching an additional science subject.
  • Familiarity with the Rosenberg International Curriculum® and its implementation.
  • Interest in and experience with the school’s Talent & Enrichment programme.
  • Ability to lead and manage independent projects.
  • Experience with science laboratory instruction and experimentation.
