The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and qualified Physics Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction and contribute to the academic success of students. This role offers the opportunity to shape young minds and make a meaningful impact in an international educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and teach up to 25 lessons per week, ensuring a high standard of academic delivery.
  • Submit lesson plans, presentations, and other required teaching documents.
  • Maintain positive student behavior and discipline, communicating with SLT when necessary.
  • Continuously enhance teaching quality and promote high academic standards.
  • Participate in regular academic and school meetings.
  • Fulfill assigned evening duties as required.
  • Assess, monitor, and track student performance, providing constructive feedback.
  • Prepare, assign, and mark homework, quizzes, and other learning assessments.
  • Prepare and grade examinations, analyze results, and produce performance reports.
  • Build and maintain positive communication with parents to share updates on student progress.
  • Plan and organize student activities, including open classes and festive performances.
  • Support students in academic competitions and extracurricular initiatives.
  • Lead at least one extracurricular activity or club.
  • Support student admissions events and promotional activities.
  • Provide support to the University Counseling Department and collaborate with the Pastoral Department on student development initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience in relevant subject.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in relevant subject.
  • PGCE, QTS, or U.S. teaching certificate is required.
  • Strong knowledge of international curriculum systems.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills.
  • Passion for student-centered education and innovative teaching methodologies.

Preferred

  • Experience with international curricula such as AL, AP, and IGCSE.
