Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Physics lessons that engage and inspire students.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student learning and achievement.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental teaching and learning practices.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of enrichment activities related to Physics and STEM.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized learning and guidance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and community engagement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a strong background in Physics.
  • Proven ability to inspire and motivate students in the classroom.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Experience in teaching Physics at secondary level, preferably in a selective school environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives or curriculum development.
  • Familiarity with STEM-related enrichment activities and competitions.
  • Experience with teaching students who are preparing for higher education at top universities.
  • Training or experience in Engineering or related fields.
