The Opportunity:
As a Physics Teacher, you will play a vital role in inspiring students and fostering a dynamic learning environment that supports academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Physics to students at various levels, including A level and KS3/4.
- Develop and implement creative, engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of all learners.
- Support students' academic and personal development through differentiated instruction and data-driven strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and contribute to the school's mission of excellence.
- Provide pastoral care and support to ensure the wellbeing of all students.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices.
- Play an active role in the safeguarding and welfare of students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Hold a good honours degree and a QTS or PGCE teaching qualification, preferably from the UK.
- Have a minimum of two years’ experience in teaching.
- Be able to provide an ICPC and a UK enhanced DBS or equivalent police check.
- Demonstrate a growth mindset and a commitment to professional learning.
- Be passionate about teaching and inspiring students to achieve their best.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching Physics through to A level.
- Willingness to teach other science subjects at KS3 and/or KS4.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to pastoral care.
- Experience in a British curriculum environment.
