The Opportunity:

As a Physics Teacher, you will play a vital role in inspiring students and fostering a dynamic learning environment that supports academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Physics to students at various levels, including A level and KS3/4.
  • Develop and implement creative, engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Support students' academic and personal development through differentiated instruction and data-driven strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and contribute to the school's mission of excellence.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to ensure the wellbeing of all students.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices.
  • Play an active role in the safeguarding and welfare of students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Hold a good honours degree and a QTS or PGCE teaching qualification, preferably from the UK.
  • Have a minimum of two years’ experience in teaching.
  • Be able to provide an ICPC and a UK enhanced DBS or equivalent police check.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and a commitment to professional learning.
  • Be passionate about teaching and inspiring students to achieve their best.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching Physics through to A level.
  • Willingness to teach other science subjects at KS3 and/or KS4.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to pastoral care.
  • Experience in a British curriculum environment.
