Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Physics lessons to students at all levels
- Develop and implement a stimulating Physics curriculum that aligns with the school’s educational goals
- Support students in achieving excellent academic results through personalized teaching and guidance
- Collaborate with colleagues in the STEM department to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes
- Participate in the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities related to Physics
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking
- Stay up to date with developments in Physics education and incorporate new ideas into teaching
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Physics or a related field
- Proven experience in teaching Physics at the Senior Phase and A Level
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and engage students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to the school’s mission and values
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum development
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and technologies
- Experience with independent school education
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Experience in mentoring or supporting early career teachers
