The Opportunity:

As a Physics Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education to students across the Senior Phase and up to A Level. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team of educators and contribute to shaping a dynamic and innovative Physics curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Physics lessons to students at all levels
  • Develop and implement a stimulating Physics curriculum that aligns with the school’s educational goals
  • Support students in achieving excellent academic results through personalized teaching and guidance
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the STEM department to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities related to Physics
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking
  • Stay up to date with developments in Physics education and incorporate new ideas into teaching

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Physics or a related field
  • Proven experience in teaching Physics at the Senior Phase and A Level
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and engage students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to the school’s mission and values

Preferred

  • Experience in curriculum development
  • Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and technologies
  • Experience with independent school education
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills
  • Experience in mentoring or supporting early career teachers
