The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Physics at all key stages, including A-level, with a focus on engaging and challenging students.
- Deliver high-quality lessons that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of Physics.
- Contribute to the co-curricular life of the school through extracurricular activities and events.
- Support the professional development of students and colleagues through collaboration and mentorship.
- Work closely with other subject teachers and pastoral staff to ensure a holistic approach to student learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Stay up to date with developments in Physics education and incorporate innovative teaching methods into the classroom.
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, and school-wide initiatives to support the school’s mission and values.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Physics or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Physics at Key Stage 3 and 4, with the ability to teach A-level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in a school setting, particularly in a similar educational environment.
- Experience with teaching English as a Second Language (ESOL) or other additional subjects.
- Previous experience in co-curricular activities or leadership roles.
- Familiarity with the PGCE program or willingness to pursue teacher training.
