Summary:

Seeking an experienced Physics Teacher to join a forward-thinking Science Faculty.

The Opportunity:

Join a dynamic and supportive Science Faculty where you will inspire students and contribute to the development of a high-achieving department. As a Physics Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and challenging lessons that support student success at all key stages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality Physics lessons that promote student engagement and academic achievement.
  • Support the development of the Science department through collaboration with faculty leaders and colleagues.
  • Encourage students to achieve their potential by providing challenging and stimulating learning experiences.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continued improvement.
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of the Science curriculum across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, staff training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and learning.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure consistency in teaching and learning across the faculty.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Physics education.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to student achievement and engagement.
  • Experience in delivering Science curriculum at Key Stages 3, 4 and/or 5.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and leading a Science department.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Background in pastoral care or student support.
