The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality Physics lessons that promote student engagement and academic achievement.
- Support the development of the Science department through collaboration with faculty leaders and colleagues.
- Encourage students to achieve their potential by providing challenging and stimulating learning experiences.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continued improvement.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of the Science curriculum across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
- Participate in departmental meetings, staff training, and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and learning.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure consistency in teaching and learning across the faculty.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Physics education.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to student achievement and engagement.
- Experience in delivering Science curriculum at Key Stages 3, 4 and/or 5.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience in developing and leading a Science department.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Background in pastoral care or student support.
