The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Physics Teacher to join our Science department and inspire students at GCSE and A Level. This role offers the opportunity to shape future scientists and contribute to a dynamic and supportive learning community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in GCSE and A Level Physics.
- Plan, prepare, and assess coursework according to curriculum requirements.
- Support students’ academic progress through regular feedback and guidance.
- Contribute to departmental activities including curriculum development.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
- Utilise educational technology to enhance lesson delivery.
- Promote inclusivity and diversity within the classroom.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Minimum of one year’s teaching experience in Physics at GCSE/A Level or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in Physics with relevant qualifications (e.g., degree in Physics or related field).
- Familiarity with the UK national curriculum for GCSEs and A Levels.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate students.
- Competent use of educational technology for lesson delivery.

- Experience with curriculum development and innovation in teaching methods.
- Experience working in a single-sex educational environment.
- Strong understanding of student-centred teaching approaches.
