Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Physics lessons in line with the British National Curriculum and international standards.
- Support students in developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills through engaging and interactive teaching methods.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Science faculty to share best practices and enhance the learning experience.
- Participate in co-curricular activities and contribute to the wider life of the school.
- Stay up to date with developments in Physics education and incorporate new ideas into teaching.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students, ensuring their academic and personal growth.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
- Engage with parents and the school community to promote the value of Physics education.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Physics teacher with relevant teaching experience.
- Strong understanding of the British education system and international curricula (A Level and IB).
- Excellent classroom management and teaching skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding, student welfare, and equality.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
Preferred
- Experience teaching Mathematics as a secondary subject.
- Familiarity with the AQA and Edexcel curricula.
- Experience with digital teaching tools and Ed Tech strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
