Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Physics lessons in line with the British National Curriculum and international standards.
  • Support students in developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills through engaging and interactive teaching methods.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Science faculty to share best practices and enhance the learning experience.
  • Participate in co-curricular activities and contribute to the wider life of the school.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Physics education and incorporate new ideas into teaching.
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students, ensuring their academic and personal growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
  • Engage with parents and the school community to promote the value of Physics education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Physics teacher with relevant teaching experience.
  • Strong understanding of the British education system and international curricula (A Level and IB).
  • Excellent classroom management and teaching skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, student welfare, and equality.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching Mathematics as a secondary subject.
  • Familiarity with the AQA and Edexcel curricula.
  • Experience with digital teaching tools and Ed Tech strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Interest in co-curricular activities and student engagement.
