The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Physics Teacher to join our Secondary School team, starting in August 2026. This role offers the chance to inspire students, contribute to a supportive learning environment, and be part of a school committed to academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Physics lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum and Cambridge IGCSE/A Level syllabi.
- Support students through personalised learning, effective feedback, and formative assessment strategies.
- Act as a pastoral tutor, contributing to the holistic development of students.
- Participate in and lead extracurricular activities that enrich the student experience.
- Engage with the school's House system, supporting events and competitions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices.
- Commit to ongoing professional development and self-improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Recognised teaching qualifications.
- Proven experience in teaching Physics at Secondary level.
- Familiarity with the English National Curriculum for KS3 Science.
- Knowledge of Cambridge IGCSE and A Level Physics.
- Strong understanding of assessment and feedback practices.
Preferred
- Experience in pastoral tutoring.
- Involvement in extracurricular activities.
- Experience with the House system and event organisation.
- Background in a British international school setting.
