Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the physics department’s resources and equipment.
  • Prepare and set up equipment for practical lessons and demonstrations.
  • Assist in the delivery of outreach lessons and events.
  • Collaborate with teachers to ensure laboratory safety and compliance.
  • Support the development and implementation of practical experiments.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and inventory.
  • Provide technical support during lessons and examinations.
  • Contribute to the upkeep and improvement of laboratory facilities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant experience in a technical or laboratory role.
  • Strong understanding of physics practicals and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to health and safety standards in a laboratory setting.
  • Experience in a school or educational environment is preferred.
