The Opportunity:

The Prep School Chaplain will provide dynamic evangelical Christian ministry to pupils and staff across three prep schools, supporting spiritual growth and pastoral care. This role is ideal for someone passionate about faith and education, with a strong commitment to nurturing young people of all backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and inspiring spiritual programmes across multiple school sites.
Provide pastoral care and support to pupils of all faiths and none.
Collaborate with the Stowe Chaplain and Assistant Chaplain to maintain a consistent spiritual ethos.
Teach up to six lessons per week across the Group.
Contribute to boarding, pastoral, and co-curricular activities within the prep schools.
Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment that reflects the school’s values.
Support the development of the spiritual life of the school community.
Engage with students, parents, and staff through regular communication and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

Strong commitment to evangelical Christian ministry.
Experience working with children in an educational setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide pastoral care and support to a diverse range of students.
Willingness to travel between multiple school sites.

Preferred

Experience in teaching or religious education.
Familiarity with the British education system.
Experience in leading or supporting spiritual programmes in a school environment.
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
