The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Prep Teacher to join our team starting in April 2026. This role is ideal for an ECT and offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic, bilingual curriculum with a strong emphasis on French. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping young minds and supporting student success in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across the Prep curriculum with a strong emphasis on French language instruction.
  • Foster a love of learning through engaging and innovative teaching methods.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school by running lunchtime and after-school clubs, leading assemblies, and organizing educational trips and workshops.
  • Support the development of students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and enriching educational experience for all pupils.
  • Participate in professional development and continue to enhance teaching practice.
  • Maintain accurate records and assessments of student progress.
  • Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in primary education.
  • Advanced proficiency in French, with the ability to teach a significant portion of the curriculum in French.
  • A passion for inspiring and understanding children.
  • A commitment to continued professional development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a school environment that values collaboration and student-centered learning.

Preferred

  • Experience in a bilingual or international school setting.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • A background in early years or primary education.
  • Experience in leading extracurricular activities or clubs.
  • A strong interest in cultural and global education.
