Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality English instruction aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) framework.
  • Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that promote critical thinking, creativity, and language development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic growth of all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement cross-curricular and multilingual learning experiences.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous learning.
  • Participate in school-wide events, professional development, and community-building initiatives.
  • Support the integration of technology in the classroom to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure student success and well-being.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a recognized teaching qualification and experience in primary education.
  • Strong command of English and the ability to teach in a multilingual environment.
  • Experience with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) or similar international curriculum.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and inspire young learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in a bilingual or international school setting.
  • Familiarity with the Swiss Baccalaureate or other international curricula.
  • Experience with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education.
  • Proficiency in French or German.
