Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging German language instruction to primary students in a bilingual setting.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Swiss Baccalaureate curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s mission of preparing students for a global future.
• Promote multilingualism and cultural awareness through immersive and interactive teaching methods.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, German, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the primary level.
• Strong command of the German language, with the ability to teach in a bilingual environment.
• Familiarity with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Swiss Baccalaureate curriculum.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.
• Commitment to student-centred learning and fostering a positive, inclusive classroom culture.

Preferred

• Experience teaching in an international school setting.
• Proficiency in French or Arabic.
• Experience with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education.
• Familiarity with educational technology and innovative teaching methods.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team.
