Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students in Key Stages 1 and 2.
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans aligned with the English National Curriculum.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents to support student progress.
  • Monitor and assess student performance regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives, professional development, and staff meetings.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and school outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Education with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience in teaching primary school students, with a focus on Key Stages 1 and 2.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Experience with the English National Curriculum or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to personalize learning and support student independence.
  • Previous involvement in extracurricular activities or school leadership roles.
