Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of diverse learners, ensuring all students feel supported and challenged.
- Foster a nurturing and inspiring classroom culture that promotes curiosity, independence, and a love of learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-curricular connections and inquiry-based projects.
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure strong partnerships in learning.
- Contribute to the school’s community through participation in extracurricular activities and school events.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Degree with PGCE/PGDE or QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification) in the relevant subject area
- A minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience
- Fluency in English
Preferred
- Experience teaching the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP)
- Additional language skills
- A passion for education and a commitment to nurturing each student’s potential
- A strong understanding of child-centred pedagogy and inquiry-based learning
- Proven ability to foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
