Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of diverse learners, ensuring all students feel supported and challenged.
  • Foster a nurturing and inspiring classroom culture that promotes curiosity, independence, and a love of learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-curricular connections and inquiry-based projects.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure strong partnerships in learning.
  • Contribute to the school’s community through participation in extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Degree with PGCE/PGDE or QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification) in the relevant subject area
  • A minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience
  • Fluency in English

Preferred

  • Experience teaching the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP)
  • Additional language skills
  • A passion for education and a commitment to nurturing each student’s potential
  • A strong understanding of child-centred pedagogy and inquiry-based learning
  • Proven ability to foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
