Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of international-mindedness and learner attributes within the curriculum
  • Foster a stimulating and respectful learning environment
  • Ensure student safety and wellbeing by greeting and assessing pupils daily
  • Monitor and manage student behavior during lunch and canteen times
  • Assist in addressing medical concerns by ensuring timely access to the school nurse
  • Maintain clear communication with parents, colleagues, and the wider school community
  • Update and maintain records using the ISAMS electronic system
  • Publish written records and portfolios showing student progress
  • Communicate with parents through face-to-face meetings and parent-teacher conferences
  • Plan and deliver effective, engaging lessons aligned with IPC standards
  • Differentiate instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles
  • Use technology and ICT skills to enhance learning experiences
  • Promote student reflection and independent thinking through varied teaching strategies

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Valid teaching certificate in the relevant subject and school level
  • At least two years of experience in international education
  • Experience teaching the IPC curriculum
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure or equivalent
  • Compliance with visa requirements for working in China
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection training

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
  • Familiarity with bilingual education programs
  • Strong cross-cultural and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills
