The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Primary Inclusion Teacher to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons tailored to the needs of primary students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and stimulating learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support to ensure academic success.
- Work closely with parents and other professionals to support the holistic development of students.
- Implement effective strategies to promote the well-being and social development of all learners.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on student performance and progress.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
- Contribute to the school’s mission of fostering a community where every child can belong, believe, and become.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Primary Inclusion Teacher with appropriate SEN and teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed. and/or PGCE).
- Proven experience teaching in the Primary classroom with a focus on inclusion.
- Strong knowledge of The National Curriculum for England and Wales and its associated assessment practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on pastoral care and student support.
- Ability to identify and address safeguarding concerns.
- Availability to join in August 2026.
Preferred
- Experience in leading or supporting inclusion initiatives within a school setting.
- Demonstrated success in improving student outcomes through inclusive teaching strategies.
- Familiarity with British curriculum schools and international education standards.
