The Opportunity:
A Primary Key Stage Leader is needed to lead and manage the teaching and learning strategy within the school, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and the effective management of a dedicated team. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of teachers, teaching assistants, and middle leaders.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and ensure the smooth running of the school.
- Monitor and track student progress, supporting pastoral care and wellbeing initiatives.
- Organise and manage timetabling and support systems within the school.
- Support teachers with continuous professional development opportunities.
- Promote the school externally and contribute to its positive reputation.
- Stay informed on current educational research and best practices.
- Contribute to the accreditation and evaluation processes of the school.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Hold a PGCE, BEd and QTS or equivalent.
- Minimum of 7 years of teaching experience and leadership experience.
- Ability to review, monitor and evaluate school processes as part of accreditation.
- Experience teaching English Language Learners.
- Willingness to participate in extra-curricular activities.
- Competency in using learning technologies in the classroom.
Preferred
- Familiarity with the Talk for Writing model.
