Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic development of all students
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver innovative, cross-curricular learning experiences
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support
- Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians to support student success
- Participate in professional development and continue to grow as an educator
- Integrate technology and sustainable practices into daily teaching and learning
- Support the school’s mission and values through active participation in school events and initiatives
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A Bachelor of Primary Education or a relevant degree with PGCE or PGDE (or an equivalent teaching qualification)
- Proven experience teaching Key Stage 1 in the National Curriculum for England
- Strong interest in career development, leadership, and sustainability
- Creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning
- Excellent IT and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with students and parents
- UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check
Preferred
- Experience with innovative teaching methods and the use of technology in the classroom
- Background in sustainability or environmental education
- Experience in a school with a strong community focus
- Demonstrated leadership potential or experience in a leadership role
- Familiarity with the British Schools of the Middle East (BSME) network
