Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic development of all students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver innovative, cross-curricular learning experiences
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians to support student success
  • Participate in professional development and continue to grow as an educator
  • Integrate technology and sustainable practices into daily teaching and learning
  • Support the school’s mission and values through active participation in school events and initiatives

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A Bachelor of Primary Education or a relevant degree with PGCE or PGDE (or an equivalent teaching qualification)
  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 1 in the National Curriculum for England
  • Strong interest in career development, leadership, and sustainability
  • Creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning
  • Excellent IT and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with students and parents
  • UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check

Preferred

  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and the use of technology in the classroom
  • Background in sustainability or environmental education
  • Experience in a school with a strong community focus
  • Demonstrated leadership potential or experience in a leadership role
  • Familiarity with the British Schools of the Middle East (BSME) network
