Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England.

  • Utilise technology, including 1:1 devices and interactive tools, to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative and sustainable teaching practices.
  • Support student progress through regular assessment, feedback, and communication with parents.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to the school’s ongoing digital strategy.
  • Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and a love of learning in students.
  • Promote and model sustainable values within the school community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A Bachelor of Primary Education or a relevant degree with PGCE or PGDE (or an equivalent teaching qualification)
  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 in the National Curriculum for England
  • Strong interest in career development, leadership, and sustainability
  • Excellent IT and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with students and parents

Preferred

  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and technology integration
  • Background in sustainability or environmental education
  • Leadership experience or interest in taking on leadership roles within the school
