The Opportunity:
As a Primary Learning Support Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will design and implement targeted interventions that prioritize student well-being and social-emotional development, helping children reach their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver adaptive teaching strategies tailored to the needs of students with SEND.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a rigorous, skills-based thematic curriculum that promotes engagement and curiosity.
- Support the social-emotional development of students through personalized and inclusive practices.
- Maintain strong communication with parents and colleagues to ensure a consistent and supportive approach to student learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to inform teaching and learning strategies.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and support student outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Proven ability to deliver a thematic, skills-based curriculum that is inclusive and engaging.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to student well-being and social-emotional development.
- Experience in creating and implementing targeted interventions for students with diverse learning needs.
- Familiarity with inclusive education practices and SEND support frameworks.
Preferred
- Experience with curriculum design and delivery in a primary school setting.
- Background in intercultural or international education.
- Knowledge of sustainability and global education initiatives.
- Experience in supporting student leadership and community engagement.
- Familiarity with the National Curriculum and its adaptations for global learning contexts.
