The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and talented Primary Music Teacher to join our dynamic team. This role offers the chance to inspire young learners, deliver a progressive music curriculum, and contribute to a rich co-curricular programme that enhances student development and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and deliver an engaging and progressive music curriculum across the Primary years (Nursery to Year 6) focused on singing, instrumental skills, composition, and appreciation.
- Organise and direct school choirs, ensembles, and musical performances for school assemblies, celebrations, and key events throughout the academic year.
- Coordinate or deliver instrumental tuition and foster students' abilities across a range of instruments.
- Apply research-informed teaching methods to create motivating and challenging lessons that support student learning.
- Foster a positive learning environment where students develop the skills, knowledge, and understandings to thrive and succeed.
- Contribute to the holistic development of students through active participation in wellbeing and co-curricular programmes.
- Model and promote a love of lifelong learning, actively contributing to the teaching of skills that support student success.
- Use a range of assessment and feedback practices to track students’ musical progress in line with learning objectives.
- Collaborate with Primary colleagues to support cross-curricular learning and integrate music into thematic units.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience as a specialist Music Teacher in a Primary/Elementary setting, ideally within an international or British curriculum context.
- Strong command of the English language with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proven commitment to professional growth, collaboration, and student success.

Preferred
- Experience teaching IPC for music.
