The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary School Class Teacher - Key Stage 1 to help young learners develop foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and personal growth. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with the National Curriculum for England.
  • Foster a safe, joyful, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans and assessments that support student progress and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student learning and well-being.
  • Promote a love of learning through structured play, hands-on activities, and meaningful interactions.
  • Support the school’s mission by integrating ecological and social awareness into daily teaching practices.
  • Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Native-level English language skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent with QTS or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching Key Stage 1 or 2 in British schools.
  • A proven ability to create a caring and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum for England.

Preferred

  • Experience in project-based or experiential learning.
  • Background in sustainability or environmental education.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working in an international or multicultural setting.
