The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Primary School Class Teacher - Key Stage 2 to inspire and guide students in their academic and personal growth. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, curriculum-aligned lessons that promote student engagement and academic progress.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages collaboration, critical thinking, and student independence.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support the diverse needs of students and promote inclusive learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure consistent teaching standards.
  • Maintain strong communication with families to support student learning and development.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their full potential.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practice and student outcomes.
  • Participate in school events and initiatives that align with the school’s mission and values.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Native-level English language skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent with QTS or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching Key Stages 1 and/or 2 in British schools.
  • Demonstrated ability to create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum for England.

Preferred

  • Experience with project-based and experiential learning approaches.
  • Background in ecological or sustainability education.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in working with diverse student populations.
