Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the English National Curriculum to a diverse group of students, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-led lessons that foster curiosity and a love of learning.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes student well-being and academic success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school strategic priorities and contribute to co-curricular and enrichment activities.
  • Uphold the standards outlined in the Cognita Teaching Toolkit, ensuring excellence in planning, assessment, and professional conduct.
  • Support the personal and academic development of every student, with a focus on inclusion and well-being.
  • Engage fully in the broader life of the school, including extracurricular and enrichment opportunities.
  • Continuously reflect on and improve teaching practice through professional development and collaboration.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A Bachelor’s degree and QTS (or an international equivalent).
  • Experience teaching in a primary setting.
  • A genuine passion for teaching, learning, and child development.
  • A commitment to high standards, inclusion, and the wellbeing of every child.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive, forward-thinking team.

Preferred

  • Experience with the British curriculum.
  • Experience in an international school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in co-curricular or enrichment activities.
