Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching to primary students in line with the National Curriculum and UAE Ministry of Education standards.
  • Develop and implement creative lesson plans that promote student engagement and achievement.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a love of learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support continuous professional development.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and involvement in school activities.
  • Participate actively in the school’s extra-curricular and community-based events.
  • Support the school’s mission of Grow, Flourish, and Discover through leadership and positive contribution to the school culture.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in accordance with the school’s safeguarding policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A BEd or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in teaching primary classes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A commitment to the core values of Grow, Flourish, and Discover.
  • A UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check.

Preferred

  • Experience with the NQT, QTS, or iPGCE programmes.
  • Experience in a British school overseas or with diverse student populations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire students and colleagues.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
