As a Primary Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education based on the Cambridge Curriculum and Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL) methodology. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the Cambridge Curriculum and Inquiry-Based Learning methodology.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages student curiosity and independent thinking.
- Develop and implement differentiated teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behavior, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Support students' academic, social, and emotional development through formative assessment and personalized learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student success.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to the school’s co-curriculum and extracurricular activities.
- Stay up to date with current educational research and curriculum developments to enhance teaching practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree in Education or a related field with a valid teaching qualification.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting, preferably within an international school.
- Strong understanding of the Cambridge Curriculum and experience in delivering it at the primary level.
- Experience implementing Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL) in the classroom.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Familiarity with technology-enhanced learning and innovative teaching methods.
- Experience in curriculum development or leadership within a school setting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evening work.
