Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in English using internationally inspired curricula.
- Support the academic progress of young learners in a bilingual, immersive environment.
- Collaborate with a small team to develop and implement innovative teaching practices.
- Monitor and assess student progress effectively, providing detailed feedback and reports.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of the school’s curriculum and extracurricular activities.
- Utilise modern technology, including whiteboards and iPads, to enhance student learning.
- Work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Promote a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and creativity.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Teaching qualification or certificate (QTS) in Primary Education.
- Strong classroom management and teaching skills with a focus on differentiation.
- Experience teaching young children (KS1/2) is an advantage but not essential.
- Commitment to curriculum development and innovation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in IT, including the use of whiteboard and iPad technology.
- Willingness to learn basic German while living in Germany.
Preferred
- Experience working in an international or bilingual school setting.
- Familiarity with the German Lower Saxony curriculum.
- Previous experience in extracurricular activities or leadership roles.
- Fluency in German or a willingness to learn the language quickly.
