Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that support progress and achievement for all learners.
  • Plan and prepare long- and medium-term curriculum plans to ensure continuity and progression.
  • Create and maintain a positive learning environment that fosters high expectations and strong relationships.
  • Use assessment effectively to track progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to reporting processes, including assessments and progress updates for individuals and groups.
  • Support the development of the curriculum and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
  • Model positive behaviour management and promote social and emotional development.
  • Safeguard and promote student welfare by following all statutory requirements and school policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A passion for supporting pupils with complex needs and diverse learning styles
  • A full UK driving licence
