Summary:

Primary Teacher wanted at a leading international school with a focus on inquiry-based learning and student achievement.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive teaching team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, bespoke curriculum based on the National Curriculum for England, with a strong emphasis on inquiry-based learning, project-based learning, and the development of STEM and Global Citizenship skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a stimulating and challenging curriculum that meets the UK National Curriculum outcomes and supports the development of independent, curious, and confident learners.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that incorporate project-based learning, inquiry-based learning, and cross-curricular themes.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and vertically aligned curriculum across the Primary phase.
  • Support the development of STEM and Global Citizenship skills through thematic learning units.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and personal growth.
  • Participate in whole-school initiatives, professional development, and extra-curricular activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, assessment data, and reporting documentation.
  • Engage with parents and the wider school community through parent-teacher meetings, school events, and communication channels.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in teaching Primary-aged children (Years 1–6).
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and experience in delivering inquiry-based learning.
  • Experience with project-based learning, cross-curricular themes, and STEM integration.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Commitment to student-centered learning and personalized education.
  • Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Dutch or other languages is an advantage.
