The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team and deliver high-quality education within the IB Primary Years Programme. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, inquiry-based teaching aligned with the IB PYP philosophy and standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement units of inquiry that support meaningful learning experiences.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student wellbeing and engagement.
  • Use formative and summative assessment to monitor student progress and inform teaching strategies.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including multilingual students.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and learning outcomes.
  • Participate in school meetings, professional development, and community events.
  • Promote and model the IB Learner Profile and Inspired Education values in daily practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A recognised teaching qualification and degree in Primary Education or a related field.
  • Experience teaching in a primary setting, ideally within the IB PYP.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • A flexible, proactive approach and willingness to adapt to school needs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Legal right to live and work in Italy (EU passport or valid work permit).

Preferred

  • Experience teaching in an international or bilingual school environment.
  • Familiarity with inquiry-based, concept-driven learning.
  • Experience supporting multilingual learners (EAL).
  • IB PYP training (Category 1, 2, or 3).
