Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and inclusive lessons.
  • Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with students and their families.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a productive and respectful learning environment.
  • Design and adapt teaching activities to meet diverse learning needs and promote independent learning.
  • Support the development of learning materials and resources that align with the school’s curriculum and standards.
  • Provide regular feedback to students through formative and summative assessments.
  • Monitor and support the social and emotional well-being of students in the classroom.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Supervise students during breaks, before and after school, and provide engaging after-school activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching across the range of core Primary subjects.
  • Strong information technology skills, including familiarity with Google Workspace for Education, specifically Google Classroom.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • A willingness to continue professional development in education.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
  • Knowledge of Talk for Writing and Mastery Maths.
  • Spanish language skills.
