Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the British curriculum.
  • Analyze student data to support learning and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, including the Head of AEN and Head of EAL, to support diverse learners.
  • Use educational ICT to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of co-curricular activities.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on progress and development.
  • Support the school’s ethos through commitment to pastoral care and community involvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Graduate qualified teacher with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working with students in the relevant age group.
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum content and pedagogy.
  • Ability to use a variety of assessment and feedback techniques.
  • Commitment to upholding the school’s ethos and values.

Preferred

  • Experience in an international school.
  • Experience in the British education system.
  • Experience teaching EAL students.
  • Experience in raising achievement and setting aspirational targets.
