The Opportunity:

As a Primary Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering the Primary Years Programme, fostering a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment for diverse learners. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that reflect the principles of the Primary Years Programme.
  • Collaborate with specialist teachers to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment for students.
  • Continuously assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
  • Contribute to the school’s co-curricular and pastoral programmes, supporting student wellbeing and development.
  • Participate actively in the whole-school House system, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
  • Support students in accessing the full curriculum, building confidence and achieving their potential.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience in teaching within the Primary Years Programme.
  • Strong classroom management skills and ability to adapt teaching to diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the school’s mission.

Preferred

  • Experience in an international or multicultural setting.
  • Familiarity with the IB learner profile and pedagogical approaches.
  • Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding practices.
  • Experience with digital tools and educational technology.
  • Leadership potential and willingness to contribute to school improvement initiatives.
