The Opportunity:
As a Primary Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering the Primary Years Programme, fostering a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment for diverse learners. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that reflect the principles of the Primary Years Programme.
- Collaborate with specialist teachers to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment for students.
- Continuously assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
- Contribute to the school’s co-curricular and pastoral programmes, supporting student wellbeing and development.
- Participate actively in the whole-school House system, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
- Support students in accessing the full curriculum, building confidence and achieving their potential.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and teaching qualification.
- Proven experience in teaching within the Primary Years Programme.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to adapt teaching to diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the school’s mission.
Preferred
- Experience in an international or multicultural setting.
- Familiarity with the IB learner profile and pedagogical approaches.
- Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding practices.
- Experience with digital tools and educational technology.
