The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher KS2 to join our team on a fixed term contract, covering maternity leave. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children, while working within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire, challenge, and motivate children to achieve their full potential through best practice teaching.
  • Create a classroom environment that is engaging, challenging, and inclusive.
  • Deliver an exciting and creative curriculum that supports the learning needs of all students.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and enhance the school’s curriculum and learning opportunities.
  • Support the school’s vision of learning through diversity and promote a culture of respect and inclusion.
  • Take responsibility for the effective planning, delivery, and assessment of learning across the KS2 phase.
  • Engage with parents and carers to support student progress and well-being.
  • Participate in professional development and school improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in the primary phase.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that challenge and inspire students.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to working as part of a team and supporting the school’s values.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum and teaching best practices.

Preferred

  • Experience of teaching in an all-through school setting.
  • Experience with inclusive education and supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Familiarity with Teaching English as a Second Language (TEFL) or similar.
  • Experience of working in a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
