The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme.
- Plan and prepare high-quality, curriculum-focused teaching resources.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support continuous professional development.
- Support the school’s mission through active involvement in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Promote a culture of respect, safety, and well-being among students and staff.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives and policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
- Proven experience in teaching within the PYP framework.
- Strong knowledge of the IB Primary Years Programme and its pedagogical principles.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Fluent in English; native speaker or equivalent proficiency.
Preferred
- Experience with international curricula or teaching in a multicultural setting.
- Familiarity with Cambridge IGCSE or other international qualifications.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Interest in outdoor learning and experiential education.
- Willingness to live and work in Italy.
