The Opportunity:
A Primary Teacher - Years 4-6 is needed to inspire and educate students in a dynamic, international setting. This role plays a vital part in preparing students for secondary education through innovative teaching and a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum.
- Promote a respectful, inclusive learning culture in line with the school's mission and values.
- Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity and consistency in teaching and learning.
- Participate in curriculum development and contribute to whole-school improvement initiatives.
- Lead or assist with clubs, events, and school projects that enhance the learning experience.
- Support students in developing critical thinking, responsibility, and a lifelong love of learning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A university degree in Education or a related subject with a recognised teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Upper Primary (Years 4–6).
- Strong understanding of literacy, numeracy, and cross-curricular learning at Key Stage 2.
- Ability to use assessment data effectively to drive student progress.
- Enthusiastic, reflective, and passionate about inspiring independent, confident learners.
Preferred
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience with the UK National Curriculum.
- An EU passport or valid visa to work in Italy.
