The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team and support the Class Teacher in delivering high-quality education. This role is ideal for someone passionate about student welfare and academic success, with a focus on creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Class Teacher in delivering lessons, evaluating student progress, and assessing learning outcomes.
  • Encourage student interaction and participation in group activities.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding student information and refer all inquiries to the Class Teacher.
  • Assist in the creation of learning displays and resources.
  • Monitor and evaluate student responses to learning activities and record achievements.
  • Support students with individual needs and ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Maintain the Primary Resource Area and ensure it is well-stocked and organized.
  • Assist in the management of classroom activities and student welfare.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Commitment to professional growth and development.
  • Strong IT skills to support teaching and learning.
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude that inspires others.

Preferred

  • A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Experience working in a Primary School environment.
