Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging Visual Arts lessons aligned with the IB PYP framework
- Foster a creative and inclusive learning environment that encourages student risk-taking and expression
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement transdisciplinary learning experiences
- Support the school’s commitment to student wellbeing and academic excellence
- Contribute to school events, exhibitions, and community activities
- Promote a growth mindset and resilience in students through the artistic process
- Participate in ongoing professional development and reflective teaching practices
- Work with diverse learners and support their individual needs and strengths
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A bachelor’s degree from a respected university
- Recognised teaching status
- Diploma or specialised training in Visual Arts
Preferred
- Experience teaching within the IB PYP framework
- Experience in curriculum development and teaching in a bilingual environment
- Experience with Digital Design
- Demonstrated success in developing student creativity and confidence
