The Opportunity:

As a Principal and SLT Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the school leadership team and ensuring smooth operations across the institution. This is a key position that contributes to the delivery of an outstanding learning environment for students and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Principal and Senior Leadership Team with administrative and operational tasks.
  • Minute meetings and ensure timely follow-up on action items.
  • Coordinate communication between stakeholders, including teachers, pupils, and external partners.
  • Manage and maintain school records and documentation to a high standard.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of school-wide initiatives and events.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with the school’s strategic goals.
  • Support the delivery of the school’s leadership and academic programmes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*-C.
  • Experience of working in a senior administrative role.
  • Experience of minuting meetings and undertaking follow-up actions.
  • Strong interpersonal and team-working skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Experience with leadership development programmes.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of educational policies and procedures.
