Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain the school’s ethos and strategic direction in line with the Emmanuel Schools Foundation.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching across all subjects and phases.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence among staff and students.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues across the Trust to ensure efficiency and value for money.
  • Foster a Christian ethos that is respected and embraced by the entire school community.
  • Implement practices that enable all students to access and benefit from the curriculum effectively.
  • Lead the school’s commitment to character development and personal best for every student.
  • Ensure the school maintains its Outstanding Ofsted rating and continues to innovate in education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • First degree or equivalent, with a postgraduate qualification in educational pedagogy and QTS.
  • Proven leadership experience in a school setting, with a track record of driving improvement and excellence.
  • Strong strategic vision and the ability to lead a large, successful school.
  • Experience in managing and developing staff, with a focus on capacity building.
  • A clear understanding of the Christian ethos and its application in education.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading a school within a Multi Academy Trust.
  • Background in teaching English as a Second Language or working with diverse student populations.
  • Demonstrated success in raising attainment in disadvantaged student groups.
  • Experience in curriculum innovation and outreach programs.
