The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead school-wide improvement using evidence-based strategies to raise attainment and inclusion
  • Drive progress in attendance through targeted interventions and engagement with families
  • Implement and embed instructional coaching to enhance teaching quality and staff development
  • Build strong partnerships with families and the wider community to support student success
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and high expectations across the school
  • Oversee the development and delivery of a robust and ambitious curriculum
  • Support the professional growth of staff through leadership and development opportunities
  • Ensure the school continues to meet high standards in all areas, including behaviour and SEND provision

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in raising attainment, especially for disadvantaged pupils
  • Expertise in inclusive practice and SEND support
  • Experience in curriculum leadership, ideally in mathematics or school improvement
  • Strong ability to engage with families and the wider community
  • Demonstrated resilience, empathy, and a commitment to social mobility and inclusion
  • Senior leadership experience in a large primary school

Preferred

  • Experience in a multi-academy trust or similar collaborative setting
  • Leadership experience in school improvement or transformation projects
  • Experience in instructional coaching or professional development delivery
