Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a clear, forward-thinking strategic vision for the school.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-achieving school culture.
  • Lead and support staff to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Ensure the school meets and exceeds academic and pastoral standards.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider community.
  • Manage school operations effectively, including resources, budgets, and policies.
  • Promote the school’s values and ethos across all aspects of school life.
  • Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and reflective practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as a Principal or senior leadership role in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of educational policy, curriculum development, and school improvement strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred

  • Experience working within a Multi-Academy Trust or similar collaborative structure.
  • A track record of successful school transformation or improvement.
  • Experience with leading whole-school initiatives, such as inclusion, behavior management, or pastoral care.
  • Familiarity with Ofsted inspection processes and standards.
