The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Psychology Teacher to join our team and deliver the Cambridge IGCSE Psychology curriculum. This role offers the opportunity to shape young minds and contribute to a vibrant, international learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons based on the Cambridge IGCSE Psychology curriculum.
  • Teach key topics such as cognitive development, biological psychology, learning, abnormality, and research methods.
  • Design schemes of work, lesson plans, classroom activities, and assessments.
  • Prepare students thoroughly for IGCSE examinations, including both theory and application-based questions.
  • Use a variety of instructional strategies to support diverse learning needs and abilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessment, and attendance.
  • Provide regular feedback to students and communicate with parents on academic progress.
  • Encourage critical thinking, curiosity, and ethical awareness in psychological contexts.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a closely related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Psychology, preferably at the IGCSE level.
  • Familiarity with Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) curriculum.

Preferred

  • Proven track record of student achievement in external exams.
  • Skills to enrich the co-curricular programme.
