We are seeking a dedicated Psychology Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, supporting students in their academic and personal development. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and high-performing department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Psychology lessons for Key Stages 4 and 5.
  • Support students in preparing for IGCSE and IBDP examinations at both SL and HL.
  • Contribute to the development of the Psychology department through collaboration with colleagues.
  • Participate in the co-curricular life of the school, including evening and weekend events.
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students as part of the school’s holistic approach.
  • Stay up to date with developments in the subject and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Psychology at Key Stages 4 and 5.
  • Experience teaching IGCSE and IBDP Psychology at both SL and HL.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Psychology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and holistic education.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an international school setting.
  • Familiarity with the IB Diploma Programme and IGCSE curriculum.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives.
  • Involvement in co-curricular activities and student support programs.
